Oyama Koichi of the Minamisoma City Council pleads for help from global citizens, truth about hot particles — translated by Dissensus Japan

I found excerpts from Oyama Koichi’s blog on Enenews.com and decided to provide the entire translation here for you. Here is the original Japanese version from May 13, 2014, and the translation from Dissensus Japan, which also includes a list of research studies on the dispersion of radionuclides from Fukushima Daiichi. The translation is a little rough, but the message is still clear. I put brackets around my own corrections of a few mistranslations and fixed a few grammar errors to make it a little easier to read.

” Important Reference : Emission of spherical cesium-bearing particles from an early stage of the Fukushima nuclear accident Kouji Adachi,Mizuo Kajino,Yuji Zaizen& Yasuhito Igarashi.

The cause substance has been found.

This is an aggregate of radionuclides which starts with Uranium. It was made in the blast furnace of a nuclear reactor at more than 5000°C. This mixed metal contains four different substances, α・β・γ [rays] and also [may emit neutrons].

[No organisms on this earth were composed of these unknown substances.] We are forced to have those strong substances inside our bodies without knowing where they are exactly located.

To say that “cesium has the same system as potassium and it will be discharged from the body” is just a lie!
The body can’t recognize 5% of cesium and other complex substances (mixed metal) so I doubt that the body could badly react.

And this fact can open the closed door of global fallout of nuclear experiences in the ’60s and also the hidden history of hot particles contamination of the world. It also shows the wrong way used by leaders and their methods about the fact of death ash after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The conclusion is that anyone who doesn’t show the facts about the substance of cause is our enemy.

We are all manipulated by the words “radiation” and “radiation doze” without knowing the real identity of the source of radiation. We are not told the real facts of being irradiated, and they force us to believe that it’s just pure metal, and they let us believe in “behavior and extracorporeal elimination” and force us to believe in the myth of security. [In addition], they only compare a radiation doze [with] natural potassium contained in bananas and manipulated people as if it was a scientific study.

I really want the scholars patronized by the government to be punished by the rancorous [acts toward all of the] children on this earth.

The usual practice of misleading people is to create [instigators] and contractors in many layers. They let people believe that they are [decent people], and people who listen to them start to believe them. They are making fans and they lead people as a result. They are always avoiding the issue. The issue is held in the hands of enemies and when people know the issue, the enemy makes a conciliatory move to neutralize the attack of public opinions.

The guilt of global fallout is the corruption of concession groups of the nuclear industry and medical and insurance companies. They cause cancer to increase in a dramatic way. [Even though Japan was a nation victim to atomic bombings and its people have a medical history of contamination], they don’t let us know the substances of death ash in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

And there’s more. They were manipulating us from the beginning of the [Fukushima] accident by telling us that “95% of the contamination comes from food, 4% from water, [and] only 1 % from [inhalation]”.
An adult person [intakes] 20m3 of air per day, or 20kg in weight. We take food and water much less than that. The lung takes in varied chemical substances as it takes oxygen from the air.

The size of a hot particle is1μm. It’s really small so it goes into the blood and into the body. Then the organs take [it]. The size of a mesh hole of a filter to incinerate debris is also1μm. The information says that hot particles were diffused and flew in all directions in Japan.

The particles from hell are flying in the air and people don’t protect themselves anymore three years after the nuclear accident, and children are [inhaling] those horrible particles everyday!!!

Please let all people in the world know the life we are living since the accident, everyday and today.
Spreading the radioactive debris and decontamination that doesn’t work is only increasing the number of HIBAKUSHAS without good reason. ”

Note: Hibakushas is a Japanese term used to refer to people exposed to radiation from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings.

Tritium levels at Fukushima No. 1 well top Pacific dumping limit, Tepco admits — The Japan Times

” Water sampled from a well at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant has been found to contain levels of radioactive tritium that exceeds the limit for dumping it into the Pacific, operator Tokyo Electric Power Co. said.

The discovery was the first report of over the limit tritium in groundwater at the wells since Tepco began discharging water into the ocean last week.

In samples taken from one of the 12 wells on Monday, 1,700 becquerels per liter of tritium was detected, exceeding the maximum limit of 1,500 becquerels, the utility said on Tuesday.

Tritium levels in samples taken last month also topped the limit.

Tepco stopped pumping water from the well on Tuesday night, and said it plans to step up groundwater monitoring.

The utility is now releasing groundwater from the 12 wells into the sea after temporarily storing it in tanks and checking radiation levels.

Tepco hopes to use the wells to block the inflow of groundwater to the reactor buildings of the plant’s wrecked reactors, and to minimize the amount of highly toxic water building up on-site, by starting to dump water into the sea.

Also Tuesday, Tepco said it had confirmed water was leaking from a pipe in the reactor containment vessel inside the plant’s No. 1 reactor building. The utility used a camera-mounted remote-controlled robot in the operation. It was determined last November that water was leaking from the vessel’s bottom near the pipe, at a rate of up to 3.2 tons per hour.

In the No. 1 to No. 3 reactor buildings, highly contaminated water leaking from the vessels has amassed, preventing work to remove nuclear fuel from the vessels. ”

Government shows no intention of disclosing Fukushima disaster interviews — The Asahi Shimbun

” Successive Cabinets have refused to release details of firsthand accounts of the Fukushima nuclear disaster, despite an understanding by a government investigation committee that the information from 772 interviewees could be made public.

The media and other third parties have been denied access to the testimonies about Japan’s worst-ever nuclear accident. The government is still showing reluctance even after The Asahi Shimbun started reporting excerpts from interviews involving Masao Yoshida, who was the manager of the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant when it was hit by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

When pressed on the issue, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said May 23 the government could only release the records if it receives permission from the interviewees.

“There will be no problem if (they) make requests (to disclose their testimonies),” the government’s top spokesman said at a news conference.

But The Asahi Shimbun learned that the government’s Investigation Committee on the Accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Stations had agreed on July 8, 2011, before it started the investigation, that those interviewed could disclose the content of their interviews, such videotaped testimonies to the media.

The panel agreed that the interviews would be closed sessions.

It also said it would disclose testimonies “to the extent necessary” and withhold contents that might reveal identities and information that the interviewees do not want released.

Questions remain over the exact cause of the triple meltdown at the Fukushima nuclear plant, and conflicting reports have been released on what occurred in the early stages of the disaster.

A copy of Yoshida’s testimony to the committee obtained by The Asahi Shimbun revealed that 90 percent of the approximately 720 workers defied Yoshida’s orders and fled the plant at a critical juncture.

The records of the investigation have been transferred to the Cabinet Secretariat’s office for the preparation of nuclear safety regulatory organization reform.

The office says the records should not be made public in principle, and it has not confirmed the interviewees’ intentions on whether to disclose their hearings.

One interviewee related to the Democratic Party of Japan said he told the government committee that he did not care if the records were made public. He added that the committee has never approached him to confirm his intention on the matter.

On May 23, the ruling Liberal Democratic Party’s project team on nuclear regulation and its panel on environmental issues agreed to continue applying pressure on the government to release Yoshida’s testimonies.

“Such records must be made public to the maximum possible extent in order to prevent such a tragic accident from occurring again,” said Yasuhisa Shiozaki, depute chair of the LDP’s Policy Research Council.

The government on May 23 released a written request by Yoshida that stated he did not want his interviews to be publicly disclosed.

“I do not intend for any of my interviews to be made public. There may be contents in which I misunderstood the facts based on memory distortions and other factors,” Yoshida, who died last year of cancer, said in the note.

His request was submitted when the government committee handed his testimonies to a Diet investigation panel.

But the copy of Yoshida’s testimony obtained by The Asahi Shimbun shows that he immediately agreed when told by interviewers that the records could be made public in the future. ”

Beautiful seaside park partially closed due to radiation fears — JapanCRUSH

” A relatively high level of 0.70 μSv/h was measured in three locations in the state-managed Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachi-city Ibaraki prefecture, and to be on the safe side, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) has banned entering the vicinity of these three areas.

According to MLIT, when the radiation levels were measured on the 23rd in Hitachi Seaside Park, the hourly radiation levels one metre from the ground exceeded the government standard of 0.23 μSv in three locations such as in the woods and in open fields, reaching levels of up to 0.70 μSv.

To be on the safe side, MLIT has banned entering the vicinity of these three areas, and has put up No-Entry signs and rope around the areas so that visitors do not enter.

In the three years since the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster radiation levels of over 2 μSv have occasionally been recorded in Ibaraki Prefecture.

Hitachi Seaside Park is one of Ibaraki prefecture’s leading tourist spots and had over 350000 visitors during Golden Week this year and from now on MLIT will be carrying out decontamination of the area. ”
