Steve Austin: Fukushima’s radioactive water leak three years on — 612 ABC Brisbane

” Fukushima was the nuclear power station hit by a tsunami in March 2011 causing incredible damage and meaning that more than a quarter of a million people had to leave the surrounding area.

Now the Japanese have started constructing an underground ice wall to slow the build-up of radioactive water.

Mark Willacy reported for the ABC in Japan at the time of the disaster and he spoke to Steve Austin about the proposed solution. ”
